    Two drives or two partitions?

    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

You need the Windows 7 DVD files on Pen Drive, or the Startup disk files.

Make a Win7 System Repair Disc - Create

Boot it to mark Win7 Active using theog's link posted earlier, then run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times with reboots to write the System Boot Files to Win7. You can then delete XP in Win7 Disk Mgmt.

If you want to recover the XP HD space into Win7 then use free Partition Wizard bootable CD to delete XP, rightclick>Resize Win7, slide left grey border to the left to take up the delete space, OK, Apply.

If you have any further problems, please post back a screenshot of your full Disk Mgmt drive map, using Snipping Tool in Start Menu.
