Compaq presario c700 restarts after the "starting windows" appeared

I'm doing a clean format to Compaq presario c700. It restarts after the "starting windows" appeared while installing windows 7 ultimate. before restarting a black screen and a mouse cursor appears briefly and it will restart...

What will I do to resolve my problem??? and the laptop has no OS, when I boot it normally " ntldr is missing " shows...

hope you'll help me... Thanks in advance...

Try a full clean & full format in command prompt.

As HP/Compaq do not support Windows 7 on your presario c700, you may feed it better to stay with Vista.

Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

I did two kinds of hard disk self test, the long and the short... in short test the hard disk passed but when in long it says "Failed - Replace Hard Disk 1 (Warranty ID - error code 10008)
