    Windows Server 2008 help please

so i know this is a windows seven forums, but i wasnt sure where else to post so please excuse me

I purchased windows server 2008 a while ago and have misplaced the CD, luckily i have backed it up by copying it :) (backup freak haha)

now my problem is i need to reinstall it but cannot boot from the CD, i have first boot device set to CDROM drive in the BIOS and it doesnt read it and give the option to boot from it?

any ideas on how i could burn a boot image to make it bootable?

    Thanks in advance!

ok latest update, just tried this and it didnt work. Heres what i did.

    Installed ImgBurn.
    Opened and selected

    1. Create image from files/folders
    2. In the source, Navigated to Windows server 2008 Installation folder.
    3. In destination, created a new folder on desktop and selected it.
    4. Then clicked write ISO or burn

    Then,

    Closed and reopened ImgBurn, and

    1. Clicked write image file to disc.
    2. chose New folder/Windows Server2008.iso in Source
    3. and clicked write to disc

Now it writes the whole thing to cd. then spits it out and i have to insert it again and then it verifies it or something. When it finished, i put it in my PC and attempted to BOOT from it, when in the boot process, it pauses for a second, CD starts spinning and it stalls for about 10 secs, then continues to load windows XP, doesnt give me the option to "Press andy key to boot from CD"

    am i doing something wrong?
This is the second DVD ive gone through hopefully not too many more haha

    Thanks for the help!!

haha ok guess what, just saw the link you posted on the guide, followed it and BOOM! it worked, forgot about the link. THANK YOU!!

    So now its installed,

But its all grey, like a windows classic theme. And its automatically installed some drivers for me but when i double click my wireless adapter to enable it it says "enabling" then just goes away and the device remains disabled? So i cant connect to any wireless networks or get internet!

    any ideas please?

    THANKS!!
