    Are you trying to put XP on a Sata hard drive ?

    Sorry, I thought since its the same task i was trying to accomplish that shouldn't start another thread. Also, yes i am trying to install on a Sata drive.

    The XP installer probably does not have sata drivers, they have to be inserted during the install.
