    Wiping drive before clean install

Hi all. I'm planning to do a clean install of Home Premium x64 today or tomorrow. I want to wipe my HDD, because an unscrupulous shop owner put a key for Ultimate on my machine which a home user is not authorized to have.

Thus I want to wipe the drive really well before installing my absolutely legit Home Premium which I got from the kind folks at the MS victims department.

I have Ccleaner on my computer. Should I use that to wipe? (I mean the entire drive wiping tool, not just run the cleaner part of it.) I also have Eraser on my computer. I also have a few CDs like DBAN. Any advice on the most advisable program to use before installing would be very much appreciated. After wiping, I'll of course follow the install instructions found here.

Thank you very much for your time and help, and for this great site!

Do a full clean & full format in command prompt.

Thank you! Will that securely overwrite everything currently on my drive?

Addendum: just saw that it writes zeroes over the entire drive. Sorry I missed that the first time. Thanks again!
