    WIN 7 Build 7100 Re-installation

My WIN 7 system has become very sluggish.

Can I do an in-place re-installation without loosing my programs and data. Or should I back up all data and do a new installation.

No, you will need to backup all your data and reinstall...

Also, the Windows Easy Transfer - Transfer To & From Computers can save your user files then you can use the same utility to copy the files back to your new installation
       Note
It's best to store the saved file to a seperate partition or device as a clean install will erase all files from your install HD

    Hope this helps :)
