    Lost Disk How to install


    A related question; I have my key but misplaced my install disk for 7 Pro, is there anyway to get an install image online through Microsoft or some other legitimate channel?

    Hello.

    Yes you can download and use the exact same version that matches the activation key you own to do a clean install, have a look through this tutorial linked below for basic information.

    Unfortunately, it is against forum rules to post download links to MS software.

    Use the key on packaging insert since this is retail Win7 and not factory COA with sticker.

    However you can adapt these steps to get a perfect clean reinstall: Reinstalling Windows 7
