Does SSD register in BIOS now?

Does it still hang on the Starting Windows screen? Is this the old OS or the new install attempt?

Try booting the DVD Repair console or Repair CD to run Startup Repair a few times. Post back results.

Go back over all of the troubleshooting steps given so far to make sure each has been done, or ask back questions needed to get them done. Then we will have more steps.

Do you have another computer to install Win7 to the desired SSD/HD if necessary then SysPrep it to move back to problem hardware?

Does this happen when you boot the Installation DVD?

Where did you get Win7? Did you burn it yourself. If so did you check ISO integrity and burn another using ImgBurn at 4x speed?

Do you know that you are booting the DVD for sure? How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD - Boot to CD

Do you get the prompt to "Press any key to boot DVD" then the files load, and what happens?

Are you using a VGA monitor outputted by the computer's VGA port? Sometimes this error occurs if you have a TV card installed or it's outputted to a projector. When the driver fails to load for those then the screen goes blank with blinking cursor.

Try a VGA monitor with normal VGA cable from the VGA port.

Go back through the thread to make sure you have completed every troubleshooting step suggested, or ask back how to get it done.

If so do you have another computer to install Win7 to the target HD plugged in by itself? Then SysPrep the HD before moving it back to problem computer: SysPrep to move HD to another computer
