    Dual Boot Problem

I currently own a msi U100 netbook and made it dual boot windows xp and windows 7 (wanted to see how windows 7 would run on it) Since then I removed windows 7 by formatting the partition that it was on. Now that I have done that and looked at a bunch of stuff online on how to fix the problem of it still showing the dual boot screen I don't know what to do. Any suggestions about anything I will be great full for.

Also if there is a better category for this let me know.

Hello EndlessDayz, welcome to Seven Forums!

You should be able to use EasyBCD to edit the boot menu, look at the lower right column at this link below for "Older Versions" that are still a free download and be sure to post back with any further questions you may have and to keep us informed.

As mentioned, EasyBCD should do the trick and is probably the best way forward. However if it fails for any reason then the bcdedit command from an elevated prompt can be used.

Thank you for your help. Easy BCD helped me remove my extra boot record.
