Laptop stuck at hp logo screen

I have a dv4-1225ee laptop. I removed my laptop hard drive and attached it to my pc and installed windows xp. Because in my laptop it asked to press a key, when i press any key it didn't detect. I attached the hard drive to my laptop. But the screen is stuck at the hp logo. If I remove the hard drive and switch on the laptop. I get the insert boot disk and press any key screen. I formatted my hard drive and attached it to the laptop again but same result. Please help me.

On the Notebook make sure you have a good connection with the HD Drive.

For installing Win XP, you need to install on the Notebook & not on a Desktop.
