Windows 7: IE9 to IE8 rollback does not work

This is a good example where with backup imaging you could have swapped in the most recent Win7 with IE8 in 20 minutes, saving a reinstall as that may well be your only option if you are that game for having an older browser version.

I "rollbacked" my video card and it lost display , I restarted it using the button on the front side of the unit. I accessed the properties of my video card again and it is grayed out. Did I successfully "rollbacked"?

I decided to roll back to 7 Ultimate after 10 seemed to cause issues with Nvidia and Guild Wars 2.
