Check in your BIOS whether the First Boot device is your hard disk.
If it is not, then make the hard disk as your first boot device and reboot.
Yes of course I need to fix it. Microsoft didn't mess it up, ASUS did, I know I could have unchecked the BIOS update but I thought it was safe, otherwise they wouldn't it include it that openly without a warning.
I have the OEM Disc for Windows 7, nothing else.
Do you have anything important you want off the harddrive ?
@rraod
I believe that First Boot device in BIOS is my hard disk, but still Windows fails to load.

boot option 2: P1: MATSHITADVD-RAM..

Nothing, I had no files, it was fresh Windows+Drivers ! I've barely started preparing to install the programs so I have no files whatsoever. The major issue though, that worries me, I have activated Windows today, I have OEM licence and if I reinstall in any way I'm not sure if I can activate it again ???
Asus posted the update. Asus has built in Live Update - updating drivers, related notebook software & bios - they should never have included bios update in Windows.
PS. in my Bios Boot Configuration it says:
UEFI BOOT : Disabled
PXE ROM: Disabled
Boot Option Priorities
Boot Option 1 : PO: ST9500423AS...
Boot Option 2: P1: MATSHITADVD-RAM..
Is this the way it should be ?
Most likely the Windows simply hangs & doesn't load is due to some wrong setup, althought Windows should be on that Boot Option 1 ?
