Just go through this article 7 Free Windows Password Recovery Tools and check whether one of the tools here can help you out.

I now quote from the article : "Password recovery tools are often called "password cracker" tools because they are sometimes used to "crack" passwords by hackers. Legally cracking or unlocking your own Windows password is certainly a legitimate practice! "

So go ahead only if your copy of Windows 7 is legal or else buy one legal.

you can download an app called produkey from cnet when you open it click the file tab at the top /select source, change the tick box at the top to search a different location it's the 3rd one. browse your hdd with win 7 installed and highlight the windows folder, click ok at the bottom and give it a second or 2 to pull the key.

When a shop installs Windows they are required by law to provide a COA sticker showing that it is genuine and providing a Product Key in case of need to reinstall. If not they are suspect of selling pirated software which is a prosecutable offense. The shop needs to provide the key. Hopefully you have your receipt.
