Looking at this in hindsight, I would not trust an install that had this much monkeying with the registry.

In the time you have done all this, there could be a Perfect Reinstall with games reinstalled as need arises. Apportioning more System Restore space and keeping incremental backup images would assure you never had to reinstall again.
