    I've never tried to install x64 on it. It's my youngest son's computer, and to prevent compatibility issues with his games, codecs, etc, I run x86 on it. However, I doubt very seriously that it would perform any differently than the x86 version. I did briefly install x64 on my 1705 when I was running 2GB, and it worked just fine.
