    Irql_not_less_or_equal

After my Windows 7 failing on me, it just keeps getting BSOD when running. I decided to put my system back with Vista 32-bit. However now I have an error.

During the Installation I get the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. I do not know if this is caused by Win 7?

    0x0000000A (0x097E138C, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0X88825C99)

I really just want to get my system back and running, however not being able to put back Vista is worring, I have used the CD on 3 computers and it installs fine. The same BSOD has appread everytime while trying Vista Ultimate.

If you encounter this error while upgrading to a newer version of Windows, it might be caused by a device driver, a system service, a virus scanner, or a backup tool that is incompatible with the new version.

If I read you correctly, you are receiving the error while installing Vista over Win 7. Have you formatted the destination drive? If not, do so. If you have, could be bad RAM. Bad RAM could be the source of BSODs in Win 7.

Mem diagnostic may be in order.
