Just click on the middle icon on the right top corner of the post (whatever that is, a scale, an explosion?). Indeed, Skunksmash deserves a +rep.
Also, click on the "report post" and report it as solved. Other people looking for solutions for the same problem will see it and find it more easily.
And share the knowloedge if you can
