    Thanks for the reply.

When you say, "providing you can run the x64 version", would you anticipate issues?

Apologies if my questions are a bit basic!

    Cheers

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

Not all computers are capable of running a 64bit OS.

You can check this in Computer Properties:
Click the start orb, then right click 'Computer', left click 'Properties', In the lower left corner click 'Performance Information and Tools' in win7 (for Vista it's 'Performance'), then in the middle right side click 'View and print detailed performance and system information', under 'System' you will see the 'System type' of the OS you are currently using and below that '64 bit capable' and a yes behind it if your computer can run a 64 bit OS.

If you would please add some of your system specs, the helpful people here can give you better answers to your questions. If we don't know what system you have we're just guessing.

Try this Seven Forums thread for helpful ways to find your system specs:

Dont Know What Hardware You Have..??

It would be better to ask this questions in a new thread.
This one has been tagged as "Solved" so the people that are looking to help others will usually not look at a 'Solved' thread.
