Cannot boot into Windows 7
I had four partitions on my HDD. D,E,F for data and C contained Windows XP. Then I decided to install Win 7 due to some reasons. I thought that I would install Win 7 on my F drive and would format the C drive after that because the total size of C was very less. Windows 7 was successfully installed on F. Then I searched the web for removing XP, every result showed me a different way and I think I chose the wrong and formatted C drive completely.
After that, I was not able to boot any of the either OS and got the error on boot screen - "Remove Disk or any other media. Press any key to restart" "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device".
Then I inserted Win 7 disk to solve the problem but the dvd drive doesn't recognise it to be a bootable disk and I was stuck to the black screen.
Now what I have is a newly installed Win XP to search for solution and which is directly booting without giving me a option to choose for Win 7.
How can I get back my Win7 and format C drive safely?
Can there be a solution without using the Win7's recovery console?
Thanks in advance!
