Windows 7 wont start after changing graphics card

Yesterday i have changed Nvidia gtsomething 8600 for Radeon HD 4850
the computer was stuck at launching windows screen or just restared.
I have decided to reinstall it. Installation is fine but when it should get me first time into desktop and complete installation procedures it just goes black screen and restart / gets stuck at launching windows screen or flashes BSOD for second
have tried safe mode which is not working because OS is not installed properly and also not to restart when something goes wrong so i can see what does BSOD says. in that instance it just restarts anyways . Also have tried loading fail-safe defaults on bios.
also i hope i have put it in the right thread :S
also the motherboard is gigabyte P45

sorry no specifics, but surely a h/w confilict, with something. if its been rec'd by the MOBO mfgr, then i'd try stripping the system to bare essentials piece by piece until the card works, indicating it's likely the previously removed card/adapter,drive,etc.

    good luck
    mike:)

Do you have the win 7 dvd to do a repair install?

Do you have a backup to restore?

What is the make and model of the motherboard (and what BIOS revision) and what is the make and model of your video card (lots of manufacturers use the ATI chipset)?
