Can't install Windows 7 after purging HD

    No it didn't start, was saying that is when the issue occured. If I have a partition already how do I use minitool to merge it back so it is one big disk

    Also it doesn't give me the option to format or merge they r greyed out.

    I made a partition and made it active but it bow says NTLDR missing

    You get that error when the disk is not being booted, BIOS is trying to boot the HD instead.

    What I would do now is format a flash stick to install Win7 by extracting the ISO from DVD with ImgBurn, then writing to flash stick with Universal USB Installer, or use Ultra ISO trial version to write the DVD to flash stick following the steps I gave you in Post 10.
