    Install twice On Same Computer?

i'm not sure i will want to install W7 Pro for keeps, so i was going to install w7 pro on my computer on an older, clean drive. if most of my 32-bit programs run well, i want to go ahead and remove that old drive and use my better drive in that computer.

would that be considered 2 installations and thus not work?

    thanks.

Any retail Win7 (besides OEM which is locked to first mobo) can be reinstalled as many times as you want wherever you want as long as it's on only one computer at a time.

An Upgrade version needs the qualifying XP/Vista which came with target machine, or a retail copy you have on hand and plan not to use - but which doesn't have to be installed: Clean Install with a Upgrade Windows 7 Version
