    Hello Titi,

You could do a clean install of Windows 7 to do that all at once during the installation if you like. :)

I mean Reformat or clean my whole hard drive. I could do that with Win XP. Win XP asks me if I want to reformat (clean) my whole hard drive before clean install. I wonder how I can do that in Win7. Your help is appreciated.

If you have a Windows 7 installation DVD/USB to use, then you could use the "clean" command to wipe the HDD, then do a clean install of Windows 7 on it.

Thanks Brink for your instruction. However, I don't know how to get to the Elevated Command Prompt before installing. What the article says is that you already have the OS. Once you're in OS how can you clean or reformat your own hard drive. That's my question. Your help's very much appreciated.

    You're most welcome Titi.

The tutorial below from step 2 in the "clean" tutorial link above can help show you how to. :)
