Windows won't let me install, says my product Key is not valid.

Hi, I wanted to do a clean install so I wiped my Hard drive.

Now when I go and install W7 I get up to the last part of installation where it asks me for my product key, I enter it but it says its not valid. I bought W7 Pro off of the Microsoft website where it gave me and ISO to download and burn. I bought it in Jan 2010.

I tried calling MS support but the automation tells me I need to have the windows activation window open, but I can't because the OS isn't even installed yet.

    What can I do?

This is a legit copy too, not a pirated copy!

Hi bishop101, Install without entering the Key then you can call the autoservice ,get to the reg screen and input the new key :)

    FYI.
After installation {Win 7} refer links below...

Activation and registration of a Microsoft product

    Activate Windows 7 Online

    Activate Windows 7 by Phone
