    Reinstalling 7, help with partitions.

    Hello,
My PC has slowed down quite a bit lately and I have decided to take the quick route out by reinstalling Windows 7. However, I do have a lot of important data which must be kept and do not have sufficient external storage space for backups. I was wondering if another partition could be made on my harddrive which I could move the data over to during the installation. Would this partition also be formatted during the reinstallation period or would it be left untouched ?
    Thanks for the help.

    Windows 7 Partitioning

You can use "Easus Partition Master" to make a new partition. After that move your important data on it and you can start reinstalling your operating system. Normally I allocate 50 gb for a system partition(windows 7 x64 bit version)

The only partition(s) that will be formatted will be that one which you select when prompted during the installation.
