    Another installation problem

I downloaded RC1 and burnt a disc using an Iso Burner. At completion the following message appeared. "Setup Exe. Bad image. The application or DLL F:\Sources\SPWIZENG.DLL is not a valid Windows Image. Please check this against your installation diskette". Can anyone make sense of this for me please?

hi matata and welcome to sevenforums,

it seems something went wrong with the either the burn or the download.

try burning again at a slower speed - if the problem happens again, you'll have to re-download, sorry...

Thanks for suggestions. I tried a second download after the first one failed and each time I've set the burn speed to the lowest setting or one above. I have tried a Cd and a RW DVD. Would the type of disc make adifference?

the iso will not fit onto a cd!

try a brand new blank dvd that your burner is happy with.

or, you can install from a usb 'thumb' drive - instructions here
