Have you click on Drive Options (Advanced)?

If not, do so and you should be given the option to create a new partition.

Windows will offer to create a 100MB system reserved partition for the master boot record and a partition for Windows.

Select the larger partition, click Next and Windows should begin installing.

All Linux code must be deleted using the CLEAN ALL command. As you have had linux on the HD you need do a Clean all & full format.

    1) Boot DVD & Press Shift+F10 (for command prompt)
    DISKPART : At PC Startup
    2) Boot DVD, & Command Prompt at Startup
    (for command prompt)

    Type in command line
    DISKPART
    LIST DISK
    SELECT DISK # (win HD)
    CLEAN ALL
    CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
    SELECT PARTITION 1
    ACTIVE
    FORMAT fs=NTFS
    ASSIGN
    EXIT
    EXIT

    clean win 7 x64 install trouble-list-disk.png

type list disk at the prompt in that black window.

Post a screen shot of the result or at least tell us what then comes up.

Here is a screen shot that comes up on my PC when i type list disk and hit enter key:
