Just to add to what has already been stated, your board will support up to two PATA/ATA-100 drives (aka: IDE) in a master/slave configuration. The port is noted on this image of your motherboard. It requires a "ribbon" cable as already stated.
im using my hdd at mo in the orange small connector ,can i use a ide as a disk storage device like, but use my sata one as main

Make sure the Win7 HD remains set first to boot in BIOS setup.
Then any other HD which is connected can be used for storage.

IDE drives require a large ribbon cable, not the smaller SATA cable:

Do you have IDE Molex four-pin power cable connectors available from the Power Supply Unit now:

It should have these since your mobo has IDE port.

YES, but make sure the HD Drive is MASTER & DVD Drive is slave.

To enter BIOS setup to check Boot Order, look for key given on first boot screen. If necessary google your mobo model Manual.

To correctly set the jumper pins to Master or slave on the HD and DVD drive, I google the HD model + set jumper to see an illustration.
