@Murd3rd What I really meant to say was, I don't think I have a recovery partition, because my Toshiba is really running on a default W7 ISO. I just wish I had one, that's all.
ahhh...ok, i just read the whole thread and was wondering why you were so worried about this unallocated space, nvm then, haha

@AddRam Yes, I do. It says 594gb instead of 584gb, an extra 10gb.

@Murd3rd Continuing from my previous post, I just wish I had a recovery cd/partition, because there are some things you can't get on their support website.

*just because i kinda wanna know* what kind of things? i havent had any problems getting anything to work on my laptop(except my webcam but that isnt a software fault, it has internal wire failure). if i cant find it on the Toshiba site, then Windows update probably has the answer...

You can always order recovery discs from the manufacturer.

Ya but he wants them, $30 is nothing. Save a $1 a day for a month.

Better to clean reinstall when the time comes anyway, without the factory bloatware which corrupts and throttles Win7.

Here are steps to get a perfect clean reinstall of factory OEM: Reinstalling Windows 7
