Error 0x80070570 when installing ANY 32bit version of Windows
So, I faced this problem 2 years ago, yet, I can't solve it.
A few years back, I've got a new Toshiba Satellite C850-B797 laptop. It came with Windows 7 64-bit, few months later I forced to format it and install a new Windows; However, since that time, I'm locked out of ANY 64-bit version of Win.
Though, ANY 32-bit version of Win will install without problem (WHY??).
The error code is 0x80070570
I've searched the internet and even did my personal research, but with no luck.
It just stops at 17% while installing, and gives that error.
What I've tried:
- Installing from 4 different USB sticks. (Couldn't use CD/DVD, the driver isn't functional).
- Trying different USB ports both 3.0 and 2.0
- Trying different SATA modes, both IDE and AHCI.
- Swapping out and removing the RAMs.
- Wiping out the HDD many times even with dban.
- Trying many ISOs and different Windows versions (7, 8, and 10).
Out of all of that, 32-bit installs perfectly, but 64-bit is NOT.
Why? What is the problem?
Thanks in advance for any kind of help.
