Save and exit from bios, drop your disc in (quickly) and see if you get the message
Press any key to boot from dvd.

Let us know what happens, if you can.

After you make desired changes, look for "save and exit" or "exit, saving all changes" or words to that effect.

If you don't "save the changes" you don't really change anything.

After you save and exit, the boot process should continue.

    Is that it?

Don't I need to boot into UEFI or something?

Wait to see if the setting change to AHCI solves your install issue.

If not, disable or unplug one hD.

If that fails, wipe target HD.

If those fail follow the tutorial Theog gave to install to UEFI BIOS, ask him any questions for the morning.

    No, you don`t.

After you click on custom install, how much space is it showing and how many drives show up ?

If I go to Hard Drive BBS Priorities in BIOS's boot tab.

If I chose Boot Option 1 or 2 which are the HD's, it has a Disable option. Will that disable te Hd?
