virtual xp post installation problem

Dear Forum,

i am new member ... I installed Virtual xp by folling all steps in the document

however, in 7th step i.e. open and run windows xp mode..
when i click on start-> program -> windows virtual pc i am not getting sub menu consisting windows virtual pc and windows xp mode.

insted i m getting explor window showing desktop.ini file.

please guide.
