i am lost and i need some help please?

hello everyone , i like this website and its full of useful information

i need your help with this situation

i installed windows 7 32 bit on a brand new toshiba laptop , and while installing i chose to divide the hard disk into three partitions , but now after finishing installing windows am confused , the picture will explain everything

i got c: windows 7 partiton

and d: unformatted?? raw??

and the rest of the hard disk marked as unallocated?/

i just want to divide it into c:80gb d:110gb e: 112gb

thats it , but it seems like a really hard job to do , i though it was simple thing

It is not too hard , format drive D to NTFS and create in the last 112gb partiton and format , make sure they are assigned a drive letter

hey thanks for the reply

-should i change drive D to logical or leave it primary? or it doesnt matter?

- and if i want the drive letter to be E and the cd/dvd is already E , what can i do in that case??

The first method, as you'll be able to view and follow the instructions from your desktop.

Use the Windows Disk Management. Delete D and start anew in that total freespace. It will be the easiest.

sorry to bother you again guys

but i found out that drive G is logical , should i change it to primary or leave it like that??
