Clean Install/Upgrade7...no disc? Dying Fast...999/911 etc!

Hi...and straight off an apology, as I'm sure the question has been answered 'til blue in the face here....but I've now spent 12/18 hrs a day for 6 days searching for one.
My pc has a TDL4 Trojan....it takes sometimes 30 hits on a link/page before I eventually get there, my processor is screaming at 100% plus by the sound of it, as soon as it sniffs a router....My poor wee Acer Revo is burning up with a fever! I'm in need of answers quickly therefore.....or where the answers might be found, please.

I've read all the Tutorials....Clean install w7....clean install w7 Upgrade....clean install ISO etc.
I had Vista from new, supplied with an Anytime Upgrade disc for 7HP. It's run 7 from day one & I think it kinda upgraded me to SP1 at some point.
The upgrade disc has a crack across it now.

    I have a W7HP/SP1 ISO burnt to disc (17-48996) and another, 15-65732 (7HP)
I have both on flash drives for good measure!
I can boot to all 4 no problem, bar I have a big problem hitting the `Install Now` box.

Despite all the reading, a few answers have left a lot more questions. My only confidence is in the forgone conclusion, that it'll all end in total failure!
And I haven't, as yet, managed to find any mention of clean installing an upgraded W7
with an ISO? So now I'm fearing that even if I get an installation to my surprise, rather than a blank pc....it'll likely be a no go to activate?

Pc has a Vista sticker and I've got the CD Key No. thingy, for the 7.

Even then, baby that I'm being here.....in my days of research, I've seen things!......like, my Trojan can survive a clean install, that my ext HDD might be infected, which it was and for all I might know, still is, although apparently not?
That my network might be infected? I share my broadband with other adults....can they be the source of my infection....or visa versa? I kinda assumed that I was connected with these people, not in bed with them!

At this stage, I'm thinking....new, full price, fully authentic,W7, encase my Ext drive in cement/secret deep sea burial & shoot my flatmates, rather than a simple clean install..!

But I'm desperate enough to have to give it a try so......should I hit the button?
.....bearing in mind also, that if the setup starts talking to me about half of the stuff mentioned in the tutorials, then I'm gonna be a struggling.........I know what a partition is, we have a host of them in the office....and we often get shot of them for new ones, move, collapse or expand them.....simple stuff!
Make a complete back up of my system/drive? I've tried, with several software & it always stalls at 43%?
Save drivers? Did I not read that TDL4 hides stuff in drivers?
Will a clean install configure the stuff it finds onboard?.....please excuse my utter ignorance but there's a whole load of devices being driven...graphics, sound, wireless etc....I don't need to save any of these drivers I hope?
I read here, that it's best to do this with only mouse & keypad connected?
So, my Ext DVD, dreaded HDD & usb DAC I then just plug & play?
Just re install my wireless broadband, get my few programs back, job done?

Should an , rather than a maybe consider purchasing Unhack/Warrior as a way out? I almost did until the more I read, the more I came to dread, re this TDL4.......it's made out like the swine flu for Windows!

Sorry...a lot of questions perhaps...but a simple yes or no will suffice as an answer to the main one right now....can I clean install & activate?

    Thanks for reading/Gill

    Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.

A clean install is your best way out really.

    Clean Install Windows 7

The Windows driver database is very good and will find a driver for nearly all your hardware.

Any that it doesn't can be downloaded from your computer manufacturer or hardware manufacturer.

Your product key should be good for activation, but you may need to use the automated telephone activation wizard.

    Activate Windows 7 Online
