Help me uninstall windows 7

Hello. One of my friend, who has windows 7 x64 enabled in his laptop, lost his administrator password and then, panicked and installed another windows 7, partitioning his disk drive. Now, he has access to this newly installed windows 7 OS, but he can't log on to his old windows 7 OS, which has all his important files and other media. he says " I see an error related to the memory when i try to load my old windows 7 OS " and then, his comp gets restarted! please help.

Boot up using the Startup Repair CD or Windows 7 DVD. (not the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disk) If you have a Netbook, you will need a CD/DVD drive.
NOTE: Make sure no USB drives are plugged in.
Do not use a USB Pendrive for Startup Repair.

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Sorry. we didn't make any recovery disks. and thats why were in trouble...
however, we can't even restore our files back to the previous files.

You could try to restore the Master Boot Record (MBR) as explained in this tutorial.

If that doesn't work, you can try using the Recovery Environment's Boot Record tool.

I wanted to tell you exactly what the problem is, thats why i'm posting this again.
When i try to login to my old win 7 os,
the problem is, it taked me to a blue screen, where i see "Initialising disk for crash dump"

I suggest you download a light version of linux like puppy linux or linux mint.No need to install linux.Just boot from the linux CD and back up your important data from the old windows installation to any external HDD.Then use your Windows installation DVD to clean install windows.

You can overwrite partitions using Windows "Diskpart" command accessible from the Windows install disk.

Why did you not use the Recovery Partition to reinstall?

That should not be difficult if I understand your query right. Using a partition manager boot disk access the available partitions. Then delete the partition carrying the existing OS and poof, the OS is gone and its space becomes unallocated. Recreate a new partition on this unallocated space and there you are. Alternately reformat the partition with the existing OS and then too the OS is deleted and wiped out.

Please remember that when you do any of these two alternative all the data on the Drive is lost. So please save the data that you wish to retain from your existing OS drive elsewhere beforehand.
