Using a USB, install 7 on an SSD

Hi, Prior to my pervious thread on troubles upgrading etc. I now need to install windows 7 on my new SSD. Thing is, I can't get it working, I get a fast BSOD then the system restarts. I have to use a USB to install it at this point and I cant access my previous install of windows on the standard HD so I need to do it through cmd prompt?

Any help in doing this would be much appreciated. Thanks

Where did you get Win7? Confirm the ISO or download another, write to flash stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu. Boot under USB, Removable or HD's by tapping the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first boot screen. Set HD first to boot in BIOS setup.

    Unplug all other HD's.

I managed to install it, I have the old hard drive with everything on so I'll start fresh and copy the settings for programs over.
