Windows 7 CD/DVD drivers
I'm trying to install Windows 7 and it's not showing my hard drive but it's giving me a message saying 'A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing.'. I've got AHCI enabled and I've tried IDE.

Windows should not require any drivers, other than generic ones it has on board within setup, to designate your optical drive properly. Why are you enabling AHCI when your specs list your HDD as an ATA device? Drop back to IDE in the BIOS and you may cure these problems.
Are you getting this message?
If so, I am worried that your disk iso is corrupter/bad. You are to download it once again.
That's Cluberti suggested here : Missing device driver - Virtualbox .
He and theog told me that this message occurs when the disk iso image is bad.
No worries, I put together a hardly-able-to-run PC with bits lying around and I managed to reburn Windows 7. All working now :)
