    Restore to factory default help

    Hi,

My computer has been slowly deteriorating the last few days. It first ran a system repair every time I started the computer and would then boot to the desktop, then it would just loop through the system repair screen over and over. I am thinking that my last option is to restore the computer to it's factory default since I have everything backed up on an external hard drive. Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated!

Your user manual should tell how to restore to factory conditions. If you don't have the manual, google the model number and download the manual or go to the Mfg website and get the manual.

If I no wrong you want to say check disk utility running everytime when you logon. Please confirm which drive is checking those time. Then run this command from command prompt with administrative privileges. The command is "chkdsk e: /f /x" . Here "e" is the your volume no. which is checking at the start up time. Try this.

It would help if we knew who made your computer.

    Dell? Hp? Acer?

If you don't have a computer manual your first port of call should be the manufacturer's support site.
