Nope, that doesn't work. I am suspecting that the current PC I am behind or the USB stick I am using are somewhat faulty, because I did manage (just for the heck of testing out) to install Linux on the other PC I am trying to install on, with the same USB stick and everything worked out fine. I do have access to another HDD that I can use, so I have a question: Is it possibile somehow to install Windows 7 from the other HDD (not external HDD) on to the main HDD I want?

When I try to get to setup (F10 on my computer) it requires a password-I never set one. System Restore (msconfig) shows only 1 or 2 cores not the 4 it used to show. (Quad 4 processor)
