Hi i just installed windows 7 ultimate 32bit on my notebook, upgrading from xp, it gets to the end of the install (where it asks if i want to turn on windows updates and set up wifi and stuff), then restarts and only gets to the windows is starting page before it restarts again, can you please help me out?
Did you clean the HD Drive first?

All i did was delete partition and create new partition.
Where did you get WIn7? Did you burn the DVD yourself?
Besides wiping the HD with Clean command, reset BIOS setup to defaults, while there set SATA controller to AHCI to try install.
If these fail, try entering Device Manager during install to uninstall any Devices showing in error (!), likely the Display driver to allow installaiton to complete, then update drivers from desktop. Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation
