It`s probably a virtual drive. Have you installed any programs lately, such as PowerISO ?

as a side point, you can put the images into your post.

click the little icon that looks like a mountain (?) extra partition-mounta.png and add the url.

or you can add them as attachments. it just makes life a bit easier for us.

you don't need to uninstall all of office - just the click-to-run (C2R) bit of it.

more information and an uninstall program here

I notice the latest issue of preinstalled bloatware generally has Office 2010 trial and Office Starter. Instead of presenting you with a bill after 60 days of creating documents and spreadsheets, you can keep using Starter which is a perfectly good free Office suite with some ads.

However if you try to remove the Click 2 Run virtual mess, it tells you you can't use Starter.

It would be good to figure out how to get around this, perhaps here and now.

Removing Extra Primary System Partition
Hi, I was trying to install Ubunstu and I thought I could do it without looking at any reference material. After a few tries, I tried putting the partition that I made for it active, but that didn't work and it made Windows not want to start up. I fixed that with my install disk and was able to...

Extra Partition (Disk Management)
Hello everyone, unfortunately I encountered a problem. :sarc: I partitioned my hard-drive for some backup, now I noticed that was a waste since I'll get myself a 2TB external hard-drive. Right now I formatted and pretty much deleted the partition, it's left as unallocated space. Now I'm trying...

I have no idea what that partition is for, but why are people up in arms about it. Who cares?
