    Transferring Favorities into Wiindows 7

I have a new computer. I copied my favorities on a DVD from my old computer but have no idea how to install them in Windows 7 in the Favorite tab of IE.

    Welcome to the forums

On your new system, put the DVD in your optical drive, then go to the start button and up at the top click on your name or whatever name you gave the computer.

The window that opens you will see your Favorites folder, open it, and then delete everything in that folder.

Next, open up your optical drive and then copy and paste your favorites from you old system into the favorites folder on the new system.

Hope this makes sense to ya.

wmrn43a , do you see a computer icon on the desktop screen ? if you do click on the icon that will open up another screen , on the left hand side of that screen click on local disc c then scroll down to " users" in the detail window then click on "all users" and there will be the favorites folder then tranfer your old favorites
