What makes you think you are trying to boot from a Windows installation DVD---as opposed to a hard drive?
Ahh, looks like nobody understands me. I dont know anything about booting. I cant do anything. Do I have to run computer with installation disc, or without ? There is no booting mentioned when I run computer. I just get on that damned error, looks like also you cant help me.

Yes, but I already started reinstalling, and now I got on this. I can't do anything, when I turn on laptop, there is just HP Quickweb, and then it goes to screen, ...
If just looking at that you mentioned. The only thing come to my mind is that your installation probably went to other direction/folder/drive. HP quickweb is coming from the old installation? or from factory hidden drive?

Edit: If you consider it as total mess up, and your data is already backed up. You may start from installation disk, delete all drive marked as system and even the factory made drive. then install to the the first unallocated space, make sure it has enough space for windows installation and additional program you might install later. (40-60 GB will do)

Then get latest drivers from HP support website

If you want to install Windows, you have to boot from an installation disc inserted into the DVD drive, NOT repeat NOT from your hard drive.

To boot from an installation disc, you would normally go into the BIOS and change a setting so your PC will boot from the installation disc rather than the hard drive.

That's why I asked you if you knew how to get into the BIOS.

An alternative is to choose to boot from your DVD drive from a menu that is accessed by a certain key during the boot process. I don't know what that key is on an HP.

To get into the BIOS on an HP, you have to know the proper key to hit as you turn the power on. It may be the delete key, or F2, or some other key.

Given your level of knowledge, you are probably better off using a menu choice to select the boot device rather than going into the BIOS. The BIOS might just be more confusing to you.

I think on some HPs, you need to hit the ESC (escape) key, upper left on the keyboard, to bring up a boot menu.

Try that, with the Windows installation disk in the drive. Look for a menu choice that says CD or DVD drive.

You must tap repeatedly and vigorously the ESC key at boot until it gives you a boot menu to choose the DVD drive to boot.

It may take several tries to get it done correctly.

OK, thanks for help. Everything fine now. I just needed to press Del, like you said. Now I deleted all partitions, except D and C. I formated C, so it was clean, and then I choosed it to install win7 on it. D is like was before. Thank you for all help.
