It had got to 56% with the USB then it said to verify the installation source

Then try a new ISO since the installer is clearly bad: Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 English Official ISO download

Burn to DVD or write to flash stick using Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool

Boot the stick, wipe the HD first: SSD - HDD Optimize for Windows Reinstallation

It's likely you have a bad installer - either the ISO is not intact or the DVD is burned badly.

Confirm the ISO or download another, burn DVD using ImgBurn at 4x speed, or write to flash stick using Universal USB Installer

Make sure the Win7 drive remains set to boot first, or unplug the other HD's.

Did the install complete? It normally asks for Product Key at the beginning of install. Why did you shut it down if it only froze?

If the install completed and booted into Windows then boot into the installer's System Recovery Options to run Startup Repair repeatedly.

If it froze before install completed, then test your RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Next reboot and enter BIOS setup, set BIOS to defaults, then set SATA controller to AHCI to try install again.
