Do i have to format my other drives after a clean installation?

I've recently have a lot of problem with and want to install windows 7 again. do i have to format my other drives after a clean installation?
If in the setup progress i select custom installation and then just format my windows drive, do i have to format other drive after installation? cause i don't want to lose my files.

I have a separate partition for all my data like music, pics, etc. Whenever I reinstall Windows, I only format the C Drive. I do not touch the Data Drive.

It will never cause any issue if you do not format the other drives unless your PC was infected with virus and it reached the other drives as well.

No, you don't have to format them. The data that you have on other drives stays intact when you install the OS on the C drive.
