It is always Best Practice to have the OS on Disk0 so that if a preceding data partition is accidentally marked Active it will not derail the System boot files to itself during repairs or reinstall. The System boot files are written to the first Active partition in order.

what do i install first when installing fresh copy of win 7
basically im wondering do i install drivers off dvd i made with all drivers first before i enable the items like audio or lan in the bios? or do i enable lan/audio first then after it boots i install the drivers? and in what order? inf audio lan intel management engine etc.
