    Hello kiddy,

Might I ask what you did with your old Windows 7 installation?

Also, was there a reason you needed to flash the BIOS? You might consider uplugging the computer, holding down the power button for 10 secs, and pulling out the BIOS battery (google can show you how) to completely reset it, and then try installing again after you put it all back. Only change the AHCI mode in the BIOS (if you want that feature), nothing more, at least for now.

You might also try redownloading (from another computer, perhaps) the installer from microsoft, maybe the one you have now somehow didn't download right?

Are you positive your hardware is able to run Windows 7 (I know, you had it installed before), smoothly? Also, is it all in working order? You might consider removing non-essential devices such as excessory cards and HDDs during installation.

    Thank you for reply Dusty,

    to answer to your questions>
My old windows7 installation was pretty old and since I dont use any kind of cleaning programs Ive just decided to clean install new copy of windows.
why did I flush my BIOS? I dont know man
but BIOS is working just fine as always so that shouldnt be a problem, isn it?

ISO copy of windows should be OK since Ive use that ISO a lot of times and not only on my machine, also yes my comp is able to run windows7 as it always did until now.

Ill try to remove all devices including graphic card(cos my ATI card could be a problem cos installation stops when it install graphic driver) and then see if that works.

Ill also try to download new windows...

if you have some new idea about this problem please let me know, thanks!

This doesn't make sense to me, if the installation was pretty old, why would you have used that ISO many times ?

OK, I solved my problem and here is wat I did to make this work:
I've dissasembled my laptop completly, everything cleaned up, especialy graphic card which was pretty "black", also I've cleaned cooling system which was "catastrofa" ....

now I'm not pretty shore what was real problem, but I belive it was video card since setup has stoping during video driver install, so after cleaning that part up it worked

also few changes in BIOS, there were 2 options for HDD:
    AHCI or compatibility.
    I've chose the other one.

and the most interesting thing about HDD:
once I've succeded intstaling windows I've tryed to put back to AHCI mode but windows was unable to boot up, puting back to compatibility windows boot's up.

well that's pretty confusing since that changes didn't work for me before clieaning my machine

    thanks for sugestion Dusty!
I've folowed your sugestion and disabled almost everything in my BIOS except HDD.
also I've turned off CMOS temporary as you sugested.

HI, I've been using that ISO to install windows on my laptop and other people comps, that ISO is not out of date since it's hash key is the same as one available to download via microsoft technet today(so it's the same). I said "installation was pretty old", I thought on installation of windows 7 installed on my laptop not the ISO it self nor setup on the USB stick.

    cheers!

Kiddy, I didn't know you had a laptop (Though I guess I could have looked it up, I didn't). But glad you knew how to clean it out.

I myslef don't recommend pc "cleaning products", and a clean install isn't a bad idea every once in a while. You might consider creating a system image, however, as it may be easier than a clean reinstall.

If you want to enable AHCI AFTER the OS install, use this tutorial - AHCI : Enable in Windows 7 / Vista created by Bare Foot Kid

I meant to disconnect the items, but hadn't known you owned a laptop. But the BIOS is another method of turning things off. Try turning everything back on in the BIOS. Interestingly enough, I was sure laptop BIOS had very limited functionality. Anyway, glad you got it working.
