Advice on dual boot OSX-Lion/Win 7 Ult

Purchased computer with dual boot system. Really have no need for Mac OSX. Not a pro, know enough to be dangerous :) Need step by step to remove the OSX without deleting the W7 if that is possible.
Or perhaps recommendations. I do not have the original Win 7 Ult disc. Do have a new Win 7 pro unused, unregistered package.
    Thanks

Try Cleaning the HD Drive, using the CLEAN command (no need to use CLEAN ALL) in Step One in this tutorial:
SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
    Than clean install
    Clean Install Windows 7

    Dual boot system

Let me restate what I would perhaps like to do if possible:

I bought a "New" (to me) system with dual boot Win 7/OSX. None of my data is on it.
1-TB single Hard drive. No programs are installed on either OS.

    I only want Win 7.

I have a NEW Win 7 pro disk package, as yet unopened.

To make this simple, can I just get rid of both OS on the HD and clean install the new Win 7 from disks? Format???

As you can tell, I am a rank amateur re boot systems etc, and previously just have bought computers with the OS installed and working single fashion. If this is a complex process, I will need step by step. Never messed with partitions, boot systems, etc.

    Thanks for any help.

I am trying to be very careful here to avoid future time consuming problrems.

I am an absolute novice regarding the installation of Windows, and need all the help I can get.

I found the following, which causes me concern regarding using "format."
advice from experts is needed, readily admitting I do need help, but want to avoid messing things up. I presume I have two partitions since Win 7 and OSX are on the machine. I have absolutely no idea what to do first.

"Rather than use the 'Format' command, it would be best to instead first DELETE the relevent partition, and then to CREATE a new partition of the same size, in the resulting free drive space. A format will be performed as part of the install procedure, without the need to actually issue a 'Format' command.

Format by itself can potentially leave residual problems in the drives MBR. Delete/recreate partition doesn't have such potential problems. (that's as I understand it all, anyways.)

Regardless, the notion of 'formatting' a drive to clean it up is a notion which belongs back in the Windows 9x era! Delete/recreate partition is a far preferable approach to take. The relevent 'buttons' are found same place as the 'Format' button, during the Windows install routine."

    So you see my concern?

    Thanks

If you follow this tutorial, you should finish up with a pristine copy of Windows 7 on your hard drive.

    Clean Install Windows 7

Did you look at the tutorials theog posted or is he just wasting his time? :)
