Any more information?
What happens when you try to start - how far do you get?
Any error messages?
I don't think Sally Morgan is on this forum.
More information please.
System specs are always a good start.
As SIW2 asks, what happens on startup?
Does it hang at a black screen with a flashing cursor?
Does it hang at the Windows Starting screen?
Have you installed anything recently or made changes to your computer setup?
We have some knowledgeable people here but mind-reading is not our best asset! :)
At least let us know if the windows came preinstalled or it is a custom install , and, if it is preinstalled, what is the brand ?
Do you have windows 7 installation disk or made a startup repair disk ?
The general cases, it is to check that if the hidden system reserved (or sometimes the recovery partition, based on branding) partition is active or not. And then it is to run startup repair, at least three times, with restarts in between every single run of startup repair.
But sometimes, it needs more care, depending on the situation.
no i do not have the disc it came preinstalled
I take it you didn't create a set of recovery discs?
Your best bet now is to create a startup repair disc, and then run a startup repair three times with a reboot between each one.
System Repair Disc - Create
Startup Repair
Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times
When you get your system up and running, you should make a set of recovery discs as a matter of urgency.
And you need another computer (ask any of your friends or neighbors) to create that disk . That computer is to be the same 32 bit windows 7, as yours.
Work through these troubleshooting steps which will always end up with working Win7.
