    Insalling AS-rock drivers and it is telling me to selcect soure?


    Not sure what to do the option i have is
    -Generate the AHCI driver diskette for windows xp
    - Generate the RAID driver diskette for windows xp
    - Generate the AHCI drinver diskette fow windows xp64
    - Generate the RAID driver diskette for windows xp64

    So i bit more infromation is it says that the model i have is A55-HVS
    , also i have just installed windows 7 64bit

    Any help is much appreciated

    Why do you need this diskette if XP installed? Do you have Storage Controller driver missing in Device Manager - doubtful since XP coudn't install without it. Check there now to see which is installed.

    It's better to browse to the Support Downloads webpage for your computer or mobo model to see if they have a newer XP SATA/AHCI (whatever's installed) controller driver. Floppy is no longer a viable medium.

    As your new Asrock a55-hvs has a uEFI BIOS.
